Wow! It's definitely been awhile since I've updated about the EATW project. But that doesn't mean things aren't happening. :-)
You can now purchase "Thirsty" on iTunes and Amazon MP3 in addition to my Audiolife store.
Yes, I've been quiet for awhile. But I spent most of 2010 getting my music out there. I've had a couple of my songs in rotation on the Urban Soul Radio, a local internet radio station. I've also been featured on the TimeWarner Cable OnDemand show, Then and Now. Finally, I spent a large amount of time promoting my music in the Bay Area in the second half of last year by ministering at events and selling sample cds.
Now, I'm preparing to get the word out internationally. I will be sending some of my music to Kenya, Africa to encourage some young people out there.
It has been a HUGE blessing to me to hear your responses to the few songs you have heard. I am encouraged by your support.
Just a couple more songs to record and mix and Encounter at the Well will be done.
Tell your family and friends to purchase the Thirsty on iTunes and Amazon MP3. Be Glorified, Thirsty and This is Who I Am can also be downloaded at my Audiolife store.
Love ya!

Home Stretch - Now I Need Your Help
Great news! Encounter at the Well will be available to everyone in November!
I'm in the final stages of recording/production on a few songs and the post-production mixing has begun for the portion of the album that is complete.
I've even done my photo shoot for the album cover, thanks to Sun Lee. Just an example:
I'm so excited and I appreciate all of your support. However, I won't be able to finish this project without your help in 1 of 2 ways:
1. Prayer - can't get enough of it.
2. Money - this is the most expensive part of the project. I'd happily front all of the money for this. But I just don't have enough and I have my normal bills to pay.
I'd love to partner will all of you in finishing this project. Every little bit helps ($10, $15, $1,000). You can give using the link on this page and donate thru PayPal. Anyone who donates will receive a Thank You Gift.
Next Steps:
Thank you for all you've done to make this happen. And thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support.

Next Steps:
- Get album cover complete (in the next 2-3 weeks)
- Mixing (should be done by mid October)
- Mastering (after mixing)
- CD/Digital Distribution (early to mid November) - You'll be able to purchase cds from me or online. You'll also be able to purchase mp3s online thru sites like iTunes.
Thank you for all you've done to make this happen. And thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support.

Update - August 2009
LOL....I've been so bad at this. My apologies!
This Who I Am
You Are My God
Be Glorified
I Wait
Your Beloved
We Worship You
Encounter At the Well
Meet My Lord
Lord Come In
What's this list? It's my album! I can happily say that ALL of the songs on my album are in various stages of production. Some are done. Some need A LOT of work. But I'm happy to report that all of the songs that I currently plan to have on the album are out of my head and off of my typed sheets of paper and partially (if not completely) saved on a Logic File.
The last song I recorded (last week) was Your Beloved. It's the only cover on my album and I think of it as the sister song to This is Who I am. I've recorded very simply with me on vocals and my ridiculously talented friend, Joe Byrd, on the acoustic guitar. Joe has also recorded the guitar parts of This is Who I Am (acoustic) and Be Glorified (electric). Check him out on the Glori Radio Artist Network.
This last year of recording this album has been a slow process. But I've learned so much, I've gotten to work with some AMAZING artists and I'm STILL excited to share my music with as many people as I can get to listen.
It's very important to me to finish this album this year. I will do the live concert shortly after the album release.
Next steps for me:
- Get 2 songs mixed
- Get some album cover photos taken
- Get my album cover designed
- Release the songs online
What I need from you?
- PRAYER, PRAYER, PRAYER
I'm working full time (thank God) and have limited time and monetary resources. So I'm doing the best I can with studio time, mixing and cover stuff. However, I LOVE your support and kind words. It pushes me to keep going.
Love ya,
Di

Back in the Studio!
Hey All,
I'll be back in the studio on Monday recording the title track to the album. Encounter at the Well (the song) was written by Tonee Sherrill. It's an awesomazing (yeah, I said it) and powerful song that tells of the John 4 account of Jesus and the woman at the well. I can't wait to record it! I'm so grateful to Tonee for writing it for me and continuing to be excited w/ me. Actually, I think he may be more excited than I am at times...lol
I'm also excited to record Meet My Lord written by The Wonderful Kelvin Truitt. Can I just say that if you need somebody in your corner, Kelvin is an awesome person to have. I can honestly say that I've never met anybody like him. Anyways, that was off topic. Meet My Lord is basically a depiction of what the woman at the well did after she had her encounter w/ Jesus - she went and told people about Him. She was excited to introduce everyone to her Lord. What a great example for all of us!
Now that I have these new video/audio editing skills, I'll post a snippet of the song as soon as I can.
Love ya,
Di

Success!
Oh my gosh! I've been trying to post this video for weeks (literally). Apparently, God will make a way when there seems to be no way...lol. I had to cut a significant portion of the video off so that it would upload, but you'll get the gist of the song.

I tried to put up a video!
I've been trying for a good 2 weeks now to post a video of me singing "You Are My God" with the CSUN Gospel Choir. Unfortunately, the file is too big and won't upload. That's very LAME!
Good news, though! HOPE's House has occupied our building. I will be re-evaluating my timeline to come up w/ a new release date and concert date for Encounter at the Well. Right now I'm thinking July, but I will verify as soon as I can.
Thanks for checking in!

CSUN Gospel Choir Concert
Hey All,
Anyone is welcome to attend! Should be a great night. Great music and worship.
I'll be singing "You Are My God." It's a song that most people haven't heard yet. So I'm excited to introduce something new.
I'll try to get a video of it.
The album is still coming along. The goal is to release it in the first quarter of 2009. I promise you all that there will be some awesome worship music on the album. I'm working w/ so many annointed musicians and song writers and producers.
I'm so blessed to know so many talented people!
Thank you all for your prayers and support. Please don't stop!
